MyTeam11 users can join various types of public and private contests on the application. Various types of Public Contests available on the MyTeam11 application are Mega Contests, Hot Contests, Head-to-Head Contests etc. Users can also create Private Contests and compete with their friends. In addition to the same, users can join cash contest(s) to earn winnings or they can join practice contests for free to test and enhance their playing skills.
The public contests organised by MyTeam11 are contests that are open to all users of the application. All users can join the public contest(s) organised by MyTeam11 and be eligible for winnings associated with the respective contests.
The private contests organised on MyTeam11 are contests created by users. In a private contest, a user can create his/her contest with a pre-defined number of participants and a predefined winning amount. The private contest can be shared by the user among his/her friends via a unique code. These private contests are not visible to all the users of MyTeam11 and are only accessible to the users who have the unique code for the contest.
In flexible contests, there should be at least 3 users and a maximum of 100 users in the contest. If there are two users in the flexible contest, the respective contest will be converted into head-to-head. The flexible contests will get cancelled, if the contest receives less than 50% participation.
For instance,
If a flexible contest has a total of 20 spots and 8 users join the contest, this contest will be cancelled. For this flexible contest to carry on, a minimum of 10 users are required to join.
After creating their teams, the users can easily join any of the contests organised by MyTeam11 by just clicking on the ‘Join Contest’ button.
The cash contests organised by MyTeam11 are contests wherein the users can participate by paying a predefined entry fee and can compete with other MyTeam11 users to earn winnings. In these contests, the user with the highest points will be declared the winner of the contest.
The users can check if a contest has a single winner or more than one winner by selecting the contest and clicking on the Winners option to view a detailed list of winners & the winnings for each rank. The list of winners is visible once the overall points are calculated, after the conclusion of a match.
The number of winners in the contest(s) organised by MyTeam11 varies from one contest to the other. The number of winners to be declared in a contest will be disclosed to the users as soon as the contest is made available to join.
The users can check the distribution of winnings in the case of “Multiple Winners” by clicking on the pre-defined number of winners as displayed below the contests. According to the new section 194BA of the Income-tax Act, 1961, starting from 1st April 2023, a 30% withholding tax (‘TDS’) will be applied to the positive 'Net Winnings' earned by users from online games on MyTeam11.
If any match is completed through D/L or VJD method, the match is considered completed on the MyTeam11 app and the points are awarded accordingly. In such cases, the ranks and points are awarded based on live scores and no refund applies to any participating user.
However, if a match is being completed through the D/L method and a team plays for 50 overs in the first innings, the other team must play at least 20 overs in ODIs and 5 Overs in T20s for the second innings.
In an event wherein an ODI/T20 is called-off, the online fantasy cricket gaming contest(s) organised on MyTeam11 associated with the real match will be cancelled and the contest entry amount will be refunded to the users. This comprises both the circumstances wherein the real match is abandoned either without a single ball being bowled, or the match is abandoned after it has begun.
In an event wherein the real-time Test match is announced as drawn with neither of the teams completing a single inning, the fantasy match will be cancelled and the contest entry amount will be refunded to the users.
Further, in an event wherein the real match is declared as drawn with either of the teams completing an inning, the fantasy match will be considered to have been completed and the contest entry fee will not be refunded.
It depends on the variation of contest that user joins.
As the name suggests, guaranteed contests offer guaranteed winnings and will not get cancelled, even if they do not meet the participant requirements/ spots.

Users will also find flexible + guaranteed contests. In these contests, league price and winning is varied depending on the number of users joining the contest. This contest will not get cancelled, irrespective of number of users joining the contest.
Please note that the league price and winning distribution of flexible contests and Guaranteed + Flexible Contests will change once the match is live.
The ranks keep fluctuating amid a contest because of the changes in the aggregate scores of the teams due to the on-field performance of your chosen players.
Yes, the users can join a contest in the middle of a series in an event that the series is not yet closed i.e. it has not reached its deadline. Also, the users joining a contest in the middle of the series have an equal opportunity of winning as everyone else.
The winner in a contest is decided based on the aggregate team scores. The user whose team scores the highest aggregate of scores based on the on-field performance of their chosen players is announced as the winner of a contest.
Yes, you can switch between your teams before the match starts. To switch your team, simply click on the drop-down beside your name. After clicking, you can see all the teams you've entered in the contest and simply select a different team, even if it wasn't in the league originally.
Click on the drop-down menu on your profile in the Leaderboard section to view a breakdown of the points between your teams.
Yes, the number of the maximum allowed teams will be displayed before you join the contest.
You have to pay an entry fee for each team you join. For example, if the joining fee is ₹25, then you will have to pay ₹25 for each team you add.
Points will be given to you based on how well each player on your team performs.
Yes, you can compare the points of your teams with other players. To compare the statistics of your individual teams with your opponent’s teams. To compare, click on the ‘Compare Team’ button and select the drop-down menu to view all your teams. In the drop-down menu, you can see the entire breakdown of your teams alongside their respective points (follow the same steps to see the scores breakdown of other players). Select your team and the opponent’s team to compare the statistics of your desired teams.
