The player selected as the captain of your team will receive 2x points.
The vice-captain of your team will receive points as 1.5x.
No points will be given for starting
In case a player whose name was announced in the starting line-up fails to take the field to play and is replaced by any other player, then the replacing player shall get points based on its performance.
Any event during the extra time (after both the teams have played 9 innings) shall be considered for awarding fantasy points
Each of the on-strike batters will be given points only for one of the following actions – 1B, 2B, 3B or Home Run.
Any non-strike batter will not be given any points for completing the bases (1B to 2B, 2B to 3B, etc.)
When a run is scored, the batter whose hits the ball causing the run to be scored will be given points for Runs Batted In (RBI). For instance: If a batter hits the ball & his teammates of the 2nd Base & 3rd Base manage to reach the Home Base, the team will be given two points & he will be given 2 RBIs.
A pitcher is awarded 1/3rd of Innings Pitched (IP) for each of the outs recorded. The display & tabulation of IP of pitcher shall be done as: for first out the IP shall be 0.1 (1.3rd) which shall be equal to 1 point, for the second out IP shall be 0.2 (2/3rd) which shall be equal to 2 points, for third it shall be 1.0 which shall be equal to 3 points, for 4th it shall be 1.1 which shall be equal to 4 points and so on.
We use credible data collection sources for the tabulation of points on our platform, and once any match is declared as completed on our platform, i.e., the winners have been declared, no further adjustments or amendments will be made. However, the points might keep on changing amid the live game, and till the game, status is shown as under review.
The tabulation of points on MyTeam11 is done on the basis of the data received from official and credible third-party sources. Also, prior to the declaration of the points to the users, all the awarded scores, and ranks are cross-checked & verified with data from reliable resources.
In case any on-field player is transferred amid the middle of the series or game or already scheduled update then such change shall not be reflected in the MyTeam11 roster immediately. The change might be reflected from the next scheduled update. The player will be available for selection on MyTeam11 amid the change made between the game or already scheduled update, but the player will not be awarded any points in MyTeam11.
The winners for a contest shall only be declared for a game that has been completed on the field & has a definite result. In order to have a result both the teams should have at least 5 innings each.

Pitch: A legitimate delivery from the pitcher is known as Pitch
Ball: An illegitimate delivery from the pitcher is known as Ball. It is often outside the strike zone & is attempted by the batter to be played.
Walk: If a pitcher delivers 4 ‘balls’ to the same batter, then it is considered as a ‘walk’ which means the batter is allowed to move to the 1st Base freely.
Basic Understanding of the Game
Baseball is very much similar as it also includes a face-off between the batter & the pitcher (Batman & Bowler in cricket). The objective of Baseball is the pitcher needs to outcast the batter, while the batter needs to score runs. The team with most runs at the end of the game shall win.
- The teams in Baseball have 9 players each
- The participating teams of a match are required to play a total of 9 innings each. In case, at the end of 9 innings the scores of teams are equal, extra innings are played till the time one of the teams emerge victorious.
- The number of outs (wickets in cricket) in each innings is limited at 3 per team
Batting in Baseball
- The area ahead of Foul Line of the ground is known as Play, i.e. the area available to play & valid to score runs.
- If a batter hits the ball in the play, then he is supposed to run towards the 1st Base & a new batter shall take his place at the home place.
- A run is Baseball is scored when a player from the batting team crosses the home plate after having crossed the 1st base, 2nd Base & 3rd Base respectively.
- At a time, a maximum of 4 players from the batting team can be on the pitch. The 4 players shall include 1 batter & 3 runners with each of the player on each of the bases. This arrangement is known as ‘Bases Loaded.’
- If a batter hits the ball out of the ground, then the act is known as Home Run. The runs for a home run are awarded on the basis of the number of players from the batting side available on the pitch. For example, during a home run, if the batting side has 4 players on the field, they will be awarded 4 points.
- Base stealing is another common technique of the game wherein a runner advances to the immediate next Base while the pitcher is pitching the ball.
Baseball Pitch
The batters in a game of baseball can get out in 3 ways:
Strike Out: This happens when the pitcher pitches the ball in the strike zone & the batter misses the ball for three consecutive times. Also, if the batsman swings the bat & misses the ball, it is considered as a strike no matter where the ball is. If the batter hits the ball behind the Foul Line, it will be considered as Strike except for the third time where he will be given another hit.
Caught Out: Just the way in cricket, if any player from the pitching side catches the ball after being hit by the batter & before it touches the ground, it is known as Caught out in Baseball.
Force Out/Tag Out: Quite similar to run-out, a batter or runner is forced out or tagged out while he is advancing to the bases. Any player from the pitching team can force out or tag out a batter or runner by throwing the ball to the player available on the next base or tagging the batter/ runner while he is advancing towards the next base. It is possible to get 2 or 3 outs in this condition (referred to as double-play & triple-play).
Advanced Rules
It is important that all the batters play in the same manner as mentioned in the team sheet. The first batter comes to back to the Home Base after all the nine players have had their turns. Thus, a batter can typically bat 3 to 5 times in an inning.
Most of the teams in Baseball have a starting pitcher who plays for most of the inning. He can be replaced by 1 or more pitchers for the rest of the inning. Due to this, pitchers often play every 4th or 5th game for the team & thus, it is difficult that a pitcher might play 2 games in a row.
